Cookie Policy

This policy explains how OKET uses cookies and similar technologies on oket.dev, and how you stay in control of them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to make things work and to remember your preferences. Some information can also be stored in your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way.

How we use cookies

Strictly necessary

We remember the choice you make in the cookie dialog so we don't have to ask you again on every visit. The site cannot work properly without this, so it is always on and does not require consent.

Analytics - only if you allow it

With your consent, we use two tools to understand how the site is used and to make it better:

  • PostHog measures page visits, interactions, and site performance.
  • Microsoft Clarity shows us session replays and heatmaps (with typed text masked by default), so we can see where the site is confusing or broken.

Until you accept analytics cookies, neither tool loads and nothing is sent anywhere. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we never sell your data.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time - or click the round cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page. Withdrawing consent stops PostHog immediately and deletes the identifiers stored on oket.dev, and signals Microsoft Clarity to stop tracking and delete its cookies. The full list of specific cookies each tool uses is always available in that dialog, on the Cookie declaration tab.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may cause the consent dialog to reappear on each visit.

Third parties

Analytics data is processed for us by PostHog, Inc. and Microsoft Corporation. You can read how they handle data in the PostHog privacy policy and the Microsoft privacy statement.
