Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how OKET ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit oket.dev or contact us through it. OKET is a software development and UI/UX design company building web applications, mobile apps, and SaaS products.
1. Who is responsible for your data
OKET is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect and why
Contact form ("Become a client")
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and message. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your project (legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Footer lead form
When you leave your email in the footer form we use it to contact you about working together (legal basis: your consent given by submitting the form, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Technical data
Our infrastructure processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve the site securely and to rate-limit abusive traffic (legal basis: legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog (product analytics, web performance) and Microsoft Clarity (session replays, heatmaps) to understand how the site is used and to improve it (legal basis: consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time - see our Cookie Policy. We do not use analytics data for advertising and we do not sell personal data.
3. Who processes data on our behalf
- Cloudflare, Inc. - content delivery network and security in front of the site.
- Resend, Inc. - transactional email delivery for form submissions and our replies.
- PostHog, Inc. (US cloud) - product analytics, only after your consent.
- Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) - session replays and heatmaps, only after your consent.
- Calendly, LLC - if you book a call, scheduling happens on Calendly's own site under Calendly's privacy notice.
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long we keep data
- Enquiry emails: for as long as needed to handle the conversation and up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Analytics data: retained by PostHog/Clarity per their standard retention; identifiers expire with the cookies listed in the Cookie Policy.
- Technical logs: short-lived, kept only for security and debugging.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; restriction of or objection to processing; and a portable copy of data you provided. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date above reflects the latest revision; material changes to how we use cookies will also trigger a new consent prompt.
